Teng was a Human who served as navigator aboard the Weyland-Yutani Corporation C- Class deep space exploration vessel USCSS Maginot.

Biography

Teng was born sometime prior to 2055, the year the Maginot embarked on its 65 year mission.   

In 2120, during a break from stasis when the ship was four months away from Earth, Teng sat away from the main table with Ortiz during a crew meal. Medical officer Rahim remarked that Teng had been staring at fellow crew member Sullivan whilst she was in stasis, and had received a warning about his behaviour from chief security officer Kumi Morrow. He approached Sullivan at the table, and was warned again by Morrow to keep his distance from her. When asked their distance from Earth by Zoya Zaveri, he sarcastically gives her the answer in seconds instead of months.

Captain Dinsdale informed the crew that comms were down, log files were corrupted and the ship was burning way too much fuel. He asked Teng and Petrovich to look into what systems could be shut down to preserve it.
