Biography
Aarush was born in 2108 to a family in Mumbai, India. As a child, when attending his fathers pyre funeral, he worried that his father may still be alive. By the age of 11 he had been diagnosed with a terminal illness, and was one of several children after Wendy to be selected by the Prodigy Corporation to become a Hybrid, where he also got his new name.
Even after the process to become a Hybrid, his mother and unnamed brothers speak of him frequently. Slightly reveals a desire to reconnect with his family, evidenced when he questioned Wendy about Joe being allowed to stay at the facility when his own brothers couldn't.
During the investigation into the USCSS Maginot crash into the city, he and the rest of the Lost Boys were chosen to investigate. Upon arrival, Kirsh told him to go with Wendy when she left in pursuit of her brother, Joe. Along the way, they found evidence of scratch marks, produced by a presumed bear and Joe's bag. Their search led them to the sight of a massacre of both civilians and Prodigy employees who were sent to evacuate the area.
Wendy and Slightly found Joe in a separate room, where Slightly dismissed Joe's concerns and told him that the two of them were Synthetic. The conversation is interrupted by Kirsh, who requested their presence via comm. Joe agreed to go with them to the front of the ship to secure the Maginot specimens. Along the way, Slightly revealed their status as Hybrids, as well as Wendy's identity as Marcy.
At the front of the ship, the trio encountered many ovomorphs. When Joe was thrown outside of the wreckage, Wendy ordered Slightly to guard the eggs. As Slightly explored the surrounding area, he was caught off guard by Smee's arrival.
They're further interrupted by Morrow, who demanded intel on where the Maginot crashed. Slightly and Smee professed a willingness to allow others to be harmed to protect their parents. However, their refusal to share their Hybrid status with Morrow inspired the man to choke Slightly. Morrow took the opportunity to implant a comm device into Slightly's neck. Slightly was saved by the arrival of Kirsh. Morrow then escaped.
Back at the facility, Slightly and Smee are questioned about their interaction with Morrow by Atom. Later, when Slightly was alone in his room, he was contacted by Morrow. Morrow revealed he knew they were Hybrids and that he would like to be Slightly's friend.
Morrow would continue to communicate with Slightly, despite the latter's hesitation, and requested the retrieval of an ovomorph egg. In order to gain Slightly's trust, Morrow revealed his given name and in return had Slightly reveal his. Upon his return to his room, Kirsh spoke to him and questioned Slightly's perspective on morality and deeds.
Slightly would go on to investigate the lab that the specimens were housed in, where he is met by Isaac, who revealed his new name to Slightly. When Slightly failed to convince Isaac that Arthur Sylvia needed something from the lab, they parted ways.
As Slightly revealed the failure to Morrow, Morrow revealed that he was with Slightly's mother, who was distraught but eager to learn that her son was alive. Morrow proceeded to guilt Slightly and threaten his family, before revealing that instead of securing an ovomorph, he wanted Slightly to have someone implanted. He gave Slightly a day to get it done.
Slightly later approached the other Hybrids and Joe, where he questioned why Wendy's brother was allowed there and rebuked Wendy's comments, of the belief that she kept trying to be the boss of them. Only Smee agreed with Slightly's desire to see their family.
Morrow continued to contact Slightly and pressure him into the task. One such instance was interrupted by Smee's arrival, where the two reconciled their brief spat and embraced. However, even Smee's kindness did not deter Slightly from his promise to Morrow. He had set his sights on Joe to be the the chosen human for implantation and approached the man in his room. With Morrow's prompting, Slightly tried to convince Joe to follow him and lied that he needed Joe's help with a task for Wendy and confessing frustration with being unable to see his own parents. Another Prodigy employee's arrival crushed Slightly's attempts.
Distraught at his plan being foiled and the threat upon his mother's life by Morrow, Slightly returned to the labs. Arthur arrived and assumed that Slightly was there to look for Isaac, who was last known to be in the lab. The pair entered the lab together and found Isaac's body within a specimen's pen. Arthur used a passcode to unlock the pen, which Slightly soon after used to open the ovomorph pen when Arthur's back was turned. Slightly locked Arthur inside the lab, which ensured the implantation. Slightly then went inside and dragged Arthur into a vent.
Now with the burden of hiding Arthur's body, Slightly kept him under his bed, where Smee found him. Slightly confessed that Morrow was threatening his family and begged for Smee's assistance. Reluctantly, Smee agreed. They carried Arthur throughout the Neverland facility, where they were intercepted by Kirsh. Kirsh informed Slightly that he was aware of Morrow's communication and told them of a quicker way to head to the beach, which was the designated meeting spot.
In the forest, Smee and Slightly had to hide from Prodigy employees and set the incapacitated Arthur down. After a brief altercation with the facehugger, Arthur came from the bushes, confused from his ordeal. The two Hybrids lied about what happened and claimed that there was a contamination and gas leak, which accounted for Arthur's apparent amnesia.
The three of them continued to the beach, during which Arthur began to recall minor details of the ordeal, understood that Slightly was in trouble and that the two had lied to him. Slightly and Smee agreed to go back with him but Arthur was promptly killed by the emergence of a chestburster. Slightly was upset about the chestburster fleeing into the forest but ultimately decided to take Arthur's corpse to the meeting spot with Smee.
There, Morrow and other Weyland-Yutani employees arrived and demanded to know where the chestburster had gone. Slightly pleaded that he tried his best and asked for the status of his mother. Morrow held the two Hybrids captive and broke into the Neverland facility, where Kirsh and other Prodigy guards met them and revealed that he had captured the chestburster. Kirsh, in turn, had Morrow and the other Weyland-Yutani employees captured and retrieved the two Hybrids.
