Gunnery Sergeant Maxwell, otherwise known as Gunny Max, was a member of the United States Colonial Marine Corps and commanding officer for an operation involving the investigation of the derelict USS Paradox. Alongside Corporal Dwayne Hicks, Maxwell was one of two survivors of the incident after a Xenomorph horde attacked the expedition.
